In a renovated 1900 residence, along the Canal de la Cayenne and very close to the Marennes Marina , Alexander and his wife, with their two daughters and their two friendly dogs, welcome you to the Logis in five spacious and nicely decorated guest rooms as well as a comfortable cottage for 2 people.

The Logis du canal is the ideal starting point for discovering the Marennes Oléron region, a resort where the history of the region and that of oyster farming combine.

Our house is located along the Canal de la Cayenne, 400 meters from the oyster city . During a fun and educational walk along the channel, you will discover the life of oysters, an exciting and surprising adventure.

Surroundings, Brouage and its marsh, the islands of Madame, Oléron and Aix , Rochefort , Royan , Saintes , Mornac sur Seudre , Meschers and Talmont sur Gironde but also La Rochelle, up to the island of Ré , will reveal to you the treasures of Saintonge and the riches of Charente maritime.

A multitude of walks, discoveries and activities nearby, for all tastes: 5 km from Ronce-les-bains , on the road to the beaches of the Côte sauvage , about twenty minutes away, the famous and magnificent zoo of La Palmyre for the pleasure of young and old, without forgetting the Aquarium of La Rochelle , or even the leisure activities nearby, at the Château de La Gataudière (tree climbing, paintball, quad biking, etc.), as well as on the channel (kayak, paddle)
